Made By Visalia Stock Saddle Co. San Francisco Special made thermos caddy for Henry J. Dunn George Moore Ranch, Monterey, California Fully tooled except for bottom Very Rare $4,495. Visalia Stock Saddle Company had its beginnings with
Walker and Shuham in Visalia, California about
1870. In 1877 the company moves to San
Francisco, California. Edmond Weeks
inherited his Uncle Walker’s half of the business, bought the other half in
1899 and uses the Visalia Stock Saddle Company name again. Company moves to Sacramento in early 1950s. This item includes the two old
thermoses. One is a Universal made by
Landers, Frary and Clark, pat’d June 13, 1916 and is missing the glass
insert. The other is a Stanley Super-Vac pat’d Sept 2, 1923
